Meetings & Events

We are an active and vibrant club in the community. At our meetings,  we hosts speakers from the local area and beyond to share information about organizations, happenings, events and interesting topics. We host many different events each year including our Holiday Shopping Event and Youth Track. Newcomers and visitors are welcome to join us at our meetings. We'd love to have you!

Our club is proud to sponsor and be involved with many community service and fundraising activities.

Youth Track 2018:

Monday, April 23 - Youth Track Running Events 5:30-7:30

Wednesday, April 25 - Youth Track Field Events 5:30 - 7:30

If volunteering, please arrive shortly after 5:00 p.m. for your assignments.

Sunday, April 29 - Northeast Nebraska Championship Meet - 2:00 

($7.00 fee for non-club members)

 

Mercy Meals Packing: Monday, February 6th, Monday, March 13th, Monday, April 10th.

Church Youth Recognition: Monday, April 16 during our regular noon meeting.

Head Start Reading Program: During the month of March and April

National Night Out: Held each August in Central Park
 

Salvation Army Bell Ringing - November/December

Good Neighbors Delivery of Boxes - December - Location to meet is Grace Lutheran Church.

Christmas Shopping:  Our annual Christmas Shopping event takes place each December.We will be hosting a number of children  and assisting them with their shopping and wrapping.  Santa will also once again be available for visits. 

Eliminate: 

Peanut Day:  Make plans now for next years event to be held on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018.  This is the Norfolk Noon Kiwanis' one and only annual fundraiser to raise funds for our projects for the kids for our entire fiscal year.

 

Other events include participation in Mercy Meal Events including Pack Away Hunger Day, Read Around the World Project, Red Cross Blood Mobile Drives, National Night Out, Relay for Life and Salvation Army and the Norfolk Youth Track Program
